We have launched a project co-financed by the European Union. The aim of the initiative is to evaluate the effectiveness of the bone substitute material FlexiOss^® in the treatment of bone defects in acute primary bone loss of the lower limb and foot in comparison with standard therapy.

FlexiOss^® will serve as a scaffold to support bone regeneration, and the main determinant of effectiveness will be the patient’s return to function, including rehabilitation.

The results of the study will contribute, among other things, to the preparation of an application for recertification of the tested devices in accordance with the MDR regulation.

Project value: PLN 4,274,064.14
EU funding contribution: PLN 2,564,438.48

The project is implemented under the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, as part of Investment D3.1.1: Comprehensive development of research in medical and health sciences.
